The Mac & Babes Family Blog

This blog is basically where Mac & I post pictures of little Mac Lincoln Armstrong Steele aka Bean. It's easier than emailing and attaching pictures and videos. Who knows, maybe someday it'll be more than that but right now it's all I have time for!

It's been 5 months!

5 months old today!

Well, it nearly killed us (especially Daddy, poor, poor Daddy), but Mac's in NC training and has found us a place to live come September, the Bean and I are here in FL with Nana, our house is rented and all of the phase 1 renovations are done, the boys, our stuff and Chuck, our Prius, are here in FL (thanks Nana R and Grandpa!) and our stuff is in storage all around the country including poor Smokey (Mac's car) sitting on the side of the road in Yuma, AZ awaiting word on her fate. It's a story for another day and one that any one of us would want to do over, but, in the end, it was worth it. Bean, the boys and I get to spend time with Nana and all of our fav South Florida peeps and then we get to spend the rest of the time with Daddy! Time that we wouldn't have wanted to miss out on. We'd trade all of the stress, broken down cars, ruined plans, $, missing hard drives and scews and dinged up furniture in the world for more time with Daddy.

Mac loves the new big boy toy Nana bought him!

But it makes him very tired and sleepy.

So does playing with Sophie the giraffe.

Bean's first trip to Rosie Hamburgers.

He's trying to sit up on his own. This is what he's got so far.

Mommy let him play with his food today, too bad he looks just as messy as he normally does when he isn't playing with it. :o)

"Look what I can do!" Feet are awesome. We like to hold them and especially stick them in our mouth.

But then we get tired again.

But when we wake up the colors are on, gotta catch up on our stories.

Then we play our favorite game, grab Nana's nose.

This month we also took Mac for his first swim in the pool. Here he is all dressed up in his swim armor. :o) Looks thrilled, doesn't he?

He doesn't look like it, but he did have a good time and wasn't scared at all.
